The Calida Recessed Fireplace provides a sophisticated and streamlined aesthetic to any space using black glass trimmed in contrasting stainless steel. Calida is popular among those remodeling and starting fresh alike, in both residential and commercial settings. This fireplace offers a sleek appearance and enough heat for it to be functional. A flush-mounted fireplace, it doesn't jut out of the wall enough to be a nuisance and doesn't take up valuable floor space, either!
Warm. The Calida Ethanol Wall Fireplace is powered by one fireplace burner. The ethanol burner produces an approximate heat output 7,500 btu, which is enough heat to change the ambient temperature in a space of approximately 400 - 500 square feet.
Options. This clean-burning fireplace may be built into any wall of non-combustible material with minor construction or simply hung onto it with the included hardware. It is important to note that if you elect to simply hang Calida, the unfinished firebox will be visible from the side and the frame will protrude from the wall.
Calida, as do all ethanol fireplaces at Clean Flames, provides you freedom of design. It doesn't need to be connected to an electrical outlet or attached to special vents or a chimney. Bio Ethanol Fireplace Fuel
is carbon-neutral and only produces water vapor, heat and small amounts of CO2 into the air. Simply select a wall or build a custom surround of non-combustible material and let your creativity take control!
Adjust. Because Calida's ethanol burner is adjustable, you have the ability, by using the included damper tool, to control the burner's opening. This allows you to control the flame size, heat output and cost of operation!
High-End. The Calida Recessed Ethanol Fireplace is composed of powder-coated and stainless steel. The inner firebox of steel is finished in a black powder coat allowing it to showcase the natural beauty of the waving flames. Its frame is composed of Grade 304 stainless steel and black glass and offers both stability and high-design attributes. A pane of safety (tempered) glass positioned in front of the active fire. Aside from its aesthetic value, the glass protects small fingers and paws.
Simple. To fill the ethanol burner, simply use a funnel to pour the liquid ethanol fuel into the reservoir. Ensure not to exceed the "max line" and clean any fuel that's been spilled. Once full, ignite the burner with a fireplace match or long lighter. When finished, simply close the lid with the extinguishing tool and you're done - no embers and no smoldering to wait for or worry about.
Calida is UL/ULC Listed.
